Eastman Venuto Reeds are made from premium French cane and feature excellent response in all registers and dynamics. Each reed is precisely cut in a French style using a long cut to achieve flexibility at the heart of the reed for a great legato and staccato articulation in all registers. The Venuto reeds are made using a traditional French cut and are the recommended reed for players that use a short facing mouthpiece We suggest that beginners use the Venuto reeds simply due to the fact that they are less expensive then the Esperto. This does not mean that the Venuto reeds are any less a professional level reed then the Esperto. Features: High domed vamp which has more wood in the heart creating resistance, giving control and center to the sound Relatively thin tip. The flexibility of the heart and thin tip allow for great articulation, from legato to staccato, in all registers
