- Super absorbent polymer, called sodium polyacrylate, which, surprisingly, is found in diapers. The polymer does exactly what it sounds like, it absorbs liquids. IT will amaze you. These are very tiny microbeads (powerlike) and once fully hydrated will become a very clear transparent gel. No lumps.
- Perfect for science projects: will turn water into “gel” in about 2 or 3 seconds. You can put the glass upside down just like picture. For this experiment use 3 oz. of water and 1/2 of teaspoon and work just perfect. You can also color the gel by adding a few drops of food color to the water first.
