My Sermon Ideas Journal

This is a journal assignment workbook, written specifically to support university-level biblical studies and ministry programs being undertaken by clergy and religion students. The journal workbook provides academic teachers an assignment project that has a useful real-world application in their students’ future careers. It also provides a means of easily grading this type of journal assignment and uniformly identifying and documenting a number of student competencies required by university competency-based learning protocols. It helps students construct sermons by walking them through essential key elements to ensure their sermons are developed, researched, and intentional. It helps them convert the material they are learning in their programs into sermons that are usable in their future careers as clergy.
