John Good’s Tribute to the Art of Drumming The stunning DW Collector’s Series Time Keeper snare is a loving tribute to the art of drumming from DW’s resident wood whisperer, John Good. Inspired by music’s “timekeepers,”, John Good embraced a clock motif, adorning the snare’s Santos rosewood-covered purpleheart shell with 531 laser-cut inlays from exotic and dyed woods, including yellow koto, grey Italian poplar, black pear, tulip, and more. Drummers at Sweetwater also took note of the ultra-custom antique bronze hardware, lux leather “watchband” True-Hoops, and Remo Fibreskyn Time Keeper batter head, which enhance this collectible snare’s premium aesthetic.
