Card 10- Choose a word that belongs to the same category. Card 11 – Choose a word that belongs to the same category. Card 12 – Choose a word that is often used together with the first word. Vocabulary development is an important part of helping children become fluent readers. The ability to readily recognize words has a strong correlation to the ability to comprehend written materials.
