A HANDBOOK FOR EFFECTIVE SUNDAY SCHOOL MINISTRY: A TRAINING MANUAL FOR SUNDAY SCHOOL TEACHERS

This training manual focuses on Sunday School ministry for the Adults,Youth and Teenagers and is aimed at achieving the following objectives among others: To provide Church leaders and Sunday School Teachers with an overview of what the teaching ministry entails, help Church leaders and Sunday School Teachers understand the demands of the Sunday School ministry, equip Sunday School Teachers for effective and impactful Sunday School Ministry, assist Sunday School Teachers to improve their level of performance and commitment in the teaching ministry, serve as a reference tool and guide to Sunday School Teachers for effective Sunday School ministry, as well as provide necessary preparation for potential teachers for the Sunday School ministry of any local church.It is a common observation that many Christians of our generation do not have the opportunity to attend the Church week-day Bible study due to other personal and business engagements or circumstances beyond their control, the consequences of which is that many believers of our time are not thoroughly nourished and well-grounded in the word of God. The Sunday School apparently becomes the only avenue for corporate study of the word of God for the spiritual growth of many believers. This training manual was borne out of passion to prepare and equip Church leaders and Sunday School Teachers as to actualize our responsibility of raising godly generation in these perilous times by maximizing the opportunities available through the Sunday School ministry in building spiritually healthy and growing Church.
