A Primer for Social Science Research Methods: Focus on Survey Research Methods

This primer originates from a series of lectures given to the graduate students and faculty members of the Faculty of Social Sciences, Pontifical Gregorian University, in February of 2023. There are many excellent texts that deal with social science research methods in depth which also cover the breadth of this discipline across its quantitative and qualitative methodologies. This is not meant to replace those books. Instead, it is meant to introduce a student to this discipline to give them enough of a background to go and search for additional resources.
