Join Brenda on a Viking cruise experience. The cruise begins in Copenhagen, a Viking fishing village in 900 AD. In Oslo, Norway, originally a Viking fishing village, she visits the outstanding Viking Museum with old ships and artifacts. The Shetland Islands were a Viking stronghold until the 1600’s. In 874 AD the Vikings were already in Iceland. Greenland was settled by the Vikings in the late 980’s AD until they vanished in the 1400’s. The cruise ends with several Canadian ports that had been visited by the Vikings.
