A Woman Apart: Murder and Mayhem in Plymouth Colony

Ellinor grows up the pampered child of a country squire in Lincolnshire, England. As a young woman, she leaves this life to follow the difficult, mercurial man she loves. Her life becomes increasingly more challenging as she endures poverty and the result of the poor decisions of her husband. Eventually, he escapes possible imprisonment by taking Ellinor and their two adolescent sons across the Atlantic Ocean to the New World. There she becomes part of the most notorious family recorded in Plymouth’s history. Women in that time had no voice, but Ellinor finds hers as she courageously lives a life filled with problems, heartache, tragedy and eventually fulfillment.
