Preschoolers and Kindergarten aged children are at a critical time for brain growth and development. I have been a preschool educator for 12 years and I developed this book for use in my own classroom of older three year old’s. I have seen the early literacy powers that draw and write journals have with children as young as three years old. If you have a child aged 3-6 who needs help with handwriting practice, sight word practice, and occupational skills such as proper writing utensil holding; they can benefit from using this book along with help from a grownup. This book is also good for older elementary / primary students who want to be creative, and need some extra help and practice. There are easy to read and understand prompts on each page along with space to draw the answer and write the answer. I love to have the students wrap these journals up at the end of the year with bow and tissue so they can give them to their parents to keep for years to come as a keepsake of the child’s favorite things at the age of use.
