All Cats Speak Polish is a children’s picture book that explores diversity, personality, language, and community through a cute funny story that rhymes. It also teaches a handful of basic Polish words in a fun, quirky way. In addition to learning several words in another language, children are also encouraged to see that each cat is unique yet is a part of the same community. Many caregivers are also interested in introducing new sounds to their little readers. This book introduces simple Polish words through a diverse cast of neighborhood cats. The book includes original charcoal drawings and a shout out to the Polish folk art called wycinanki. A dog and rooster also make an appearance! For ages 9 months to 6 years (and above). CAT LOVERS will enjoy this book as well! Written and illustrated by Matilda Szydagis known for Zelda on The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. Polish words are written out phonetically as well throughout the book and are all listed again at the end of the story with their definitions.
