Throughout the thousands of poems we review annually, it has become evident that most submissions revolve around four central themes: Faith, Love, Self, and Society and one’s place within. Upon further reflection, it’s apparent that these four pillars are the fundamental beliefs that forge our identities and shape who we are or aspire to be. Our convictions… Our self-perception… Our affections… The way it all converges… “Of Faith and Inspiration”, “Inside of Me”, “Of Love and Dedication”, “My World” This is poetry filled with fervor, imbued with sincerity, poetry born of faith and ethics, love and admiration, sorrow and anguish, and the unanswerable questions that arise in the solitude of the early morning hours.
