Harvard University and Radcliffe College Illustrated Campus Print | Cambridge, Massachusetts circa 1935 A pictorial representation of the Harvard and Radcliffe campus was created as a tribute to its alumni in commemoration of the university’s tricentennial in 1936, marking 300 years since its establishment in 1636. The print showcases various landmarks, such as Brattle Square, the University Museum, Memorial Church, Business School, Law School, and the Stadium. The coats of arms for the seven residential houses, Lowell, Dunster, Winthrop, Eliot, Kirkland, Adams and Leverett are also prominently featured. The compass rose design is reminiscent of the Coney Seal from 1693, and the cartouche includes the school’s coat of arms. In the upper left corner, you can find depictions of Harvard College in 1726 and the iconic John Harvard statue.
