Christopher Columbus: A close look at the man and his voyages

On his third expedition in 1498, Christopher Columbus landed in Trinidad. Prior to embarking on this voyage, the blessings of the Santisima Trinidad (Holy Trinity) had been invoked by Columbus and his royal patrons. This led to the naming of the first island that he landed upon, being named accordingly. This island was Trinidad. Consequently, this is a history of Columbus’ voyages, from a uniquely and rarely told, Caribbean perspective.
