This is an unofficial companion to the Come, Follow Me 2024 Manual that covers the Book of mormon. Each lesson includes six pages of activities specifically created to reflect the teachings and values of each lesson. Each lesson will include some of the activities listed below: Word Search Puzzles: each word search puzzle is based on a scripture from the lesson. There are 4 types of word searches: regular word searches, word angles where words take a right turn, wacky word trails, and missing vowels. Words in the scripture that are bold are hidden in the puzzle. Word Crumb Mazes: follow the phrase through the maze to reach the end. Each phrase comes from the lesson. Word Mazes: An important word from the lesson has been turned into a maze. Full Page Mazes: Children help characters from the stories in the lesson through the maze. Coloring Pages: each lesson has a coloring page suitable for the lesson. Fill In The Blanks: many lessons have a fill in the blank exercise based on a scripture from the lesson. Handwriting Practice: a phrase from the lesson is used for handwriting practice. This is great for encouraging brain development. Unscramble ten to twelve words from a scripture. Hints are given. Word Sudoku: These 9-word sudoku puzzles highlight important words from the lesson. Letter Sudoku: Instead of word sudoku puzzles, some lessons sudoku puzzles that use 9 letters that form one word or two that highlights an important phrase from the lesson or a scripture. Word Squares: Similar to sudoku, word squares is a simple grid-based word puzzle. Each letter can occur only once in each row and in each column. Hidden Pictures Find a Word Puzzles: Two types of puzzles fall in this category, word star and knight moves. Mystery Graphing Pictures: A graph and a series of (X,Y) coordinates are given in line groups. Each picture is related to the lesson. Cryptograms: you’ll find 4 types of cryptograms, an alphabet-based cryptogram. American Sign Language to English, Morse Code to English, and a secret code cryptogram. Crosswords, crossword like puzzles: There are regular crossword puzzles, as well as Framework, Wordfit, and Reverse Word Search puzzles that are a bit like crosswords where you place the word from the scripture in the correct place on the grid. This puzzle is based on word length, and hints are given. Fallen Phrase puzzles: All of the words from the phrase have fallen out of the puzzle into columns below. Children use the process of elimination and hints to unjumble the columns of letters and put them back into their place. Word Bricks – A sentence is written on the wall, but the bricklayers built the wall in the wrong order. Unscramble the sentence to rebuild the wall.
