Concerts a Deux Violes Esgales

The two albums brought together in this set were recorded in 1976 and 1992 – the latter right after the tremendous success of the film Tous les Matins du Monde (1991). Nevertheless, they are remarkably consistent in their interpretative style and enable the listener to explore ten of the sixty-seven Concerts for viola da gamba composed by Mr. de Sainte Colombe. Jordi Savall is joined by Wieland Kuijken on this specially-priced set, which has been remastered for SACD and features Alia Vox’s usual deluxe packaging and presentation.
