Eden: Logos series book two: the rise and fall of early humanity

This is the second book in the Logos series which explores the origins of life, the universe and everything in it according to mainstream scientific evidence but with a unique twist in that the science is aligned exactly with the biblical creation story. In Logos book one you learned that there are many “origins” events are easily identifiable in both the biblical book of Genesis version and the scientific tale. Examples include the first explosion of electromagnetic energy released after the Big Bang aligning with the “Let there be Light” that ended creation’s day one 13.8 billion years ago. Similarly the “day of the dinosaurs and birds” is a perfect match for creation’s day five dragon-bird age and it sits between two massive animal extinction events of the remote past – the Permian of 252 million years ago and the dinosaur-killing asteroid strike of 66 million years ago . Having identified the model from these precisely known dates we can more easily recognise that it is the first oceans, land and cellular self-replicating life that is being described at the start of creation’s day three. Since we now have a calculated date for day four beginning 956 million years ago, we can recognise that the science reveals that the biblical story of the sun coming visible isdescribing the newly transparent oxygen-rich atmosphere which allowed high-energy oxygen-burning animals to come into existence with eyes to detect the heavenly bodies to guide the diurnal, lunar and annual cycles of life. Sleep, wake, hunt, hide, mate and hibernate. In this second book of the Logos series we use this same very precise modelling to explore the day six and seven “double portion” of creation time allocated in the Genesis story from the end of the dinosaurs to the arrival of the first human to live fully on the ground in the Garden of Eden just as day seven transitions to the first day of the second week; day eight! Biblical Eden represents the archetype of paradise. A garden like no other. Perfectly designed for the human species and filled with wonderful plants and animals nourished and watered by the design of the Creator. Here in Genesis after the Sabbath day ended the original Creation week, God made a human on the ground and began to teach and guide them. A lot changed!
