Elements of Piano Technique and Applied Theory is a 12-book comprehensive series (Volumes: 1a, 1b, 1c, 2a, 2b, 2c, 3a, 3b, 3c, 4a, 4b, 4c) that covers 44 different elements and spans Late Elementary to Advanced levels. The Complete Book 1 includes all 11 units in Books 1a-1c and covers: Major and Minor Pentascales/Triads/Cross-Hand Arpeggios, Major and Minor One-Octave Scales/Arpeggios, Major and Minor Triads/Inversions, Major and Minor Diatonic Triads, Legato Pedaling, Major and Minor Primary Chord Cadences, and Four-Octave Major and Minor Pentascales/Triads/Cross-Hand Arpeggios. It can be used as a supplement to any curriculum or in conjunction with any method book series. Each unit contains theoretical discussions of each element, so students understand what they are practicing.
