Taken from three musicals written for early teens by Stella Gaukhshteyn, Fairy Tales features seven songs with charming, melancholy melodies with fun, witty, and endearing lyrics. Each song in this collection for young women is featured in two keys and fit comfortably in the high and low registers of the maturing female voice. They have been carefully selected from the musicals: Puss-in-Boots, The King’s Birthday Hat, and The Magic Pearl. Also included are two duets for mixed voices.
