Growing Up With Opera (Metropolitan Opera Guild Presents)

Created by the Metropolitan Opera Guild, this disc was specially designed to introduce elementary school-aged children to the joy of opera. The twenty-two selections are performed by many of the greatest singers and conductors of our time. Included is an 88-page booklet with background information on the composers, the story of each opera, texts & translations, pronunciation guides and a special selection for parents providing useful tips for talking to young people about the music.
