There are many who are interested in the words of Jesus – this is not surprising, for Jesus was the fountainhead from which sprang the philosophy that blossomed into one of the most prevalent religions in the history of mankind. While this is reason enough for special attention to be paid to the words of Jesus, there are some that see the need to focus on his words because of the divinity ascribed to him, and there are yet others who believe that the words of Jesus are of more value than other portions of the Bible, a book which contains far more content than his words. Regardless of one’s viewpoint, all can agree that Jesus’ words and their impact have been and remain of critical importance. The purpose of this book is to provide the complete content of the direct statements that Jesus uttered during the period prior to his ascension.
