• Excellent Quality and Performance: Ian Martin Allison approached us about doing a signature set of Super Polished strings, the punch of stainless rounds but the smooth feel of flats. But he wanted a couple of tweaks to the formula to suit his broad needs as a session and touring bassist
• Polished Stainless Steel Round Wound: We changed the gauges, left a touch more edge on the outer wrap and gave him custom pink and grey silk wraps. The result, a unique tone that leans round wound but has the buttery feel of flats! His reaction after playing them on the road for months
• String Gauges: .045, .063, .083, .103, .125
• Standard Long Scale Set: All strings are 37” from ball-end to silk/taper. Only the silk portion of the string should wrap around the tuning post (or else the string will break).
