Le Clavecin Francais: Chambonnieres, Complete Works for Harpsichord,Vol. 1: Les Pieces de Clavessin, Livre Premier & Livre Second

This is the first of two releases comprising the Complete Harpsichord Works of Jacques Champion de Chambonnieres. This two disc set includes all the pieces from the two books of music published by Chambonnieres during his lifetime (1670) along with previously unpublished companion pieces from manuscript sources. These works are feature performances by Karen Flint on two harpsichords made by Ioannes Ruckers (1927 & 1635).
