Leaving the Cold War Behind: Code Name: Kitten (Cold War Series)

Emmy escapes from all the watchers. Yes, the watchers, bodyguards and parents who are there to protect her but there are just times in her life when she want run away. This time she runs away to Ocean City, Maryland. Okay, she didn’t really run away from the spy business, she did call and tell her mother where she was heading, and her mom helped her get a place to be for a couple days. She learned the hard way when her and her friends went to Woodstock without permission and got caught. Her initial thoughts are to hang out at her aunt’s house in Ocean City, Maryland, but it is not available. The hotel her mother picks is a nice one and she begins her next adventure there. Doug Ballantine and his friends are in the lobby and of course with her luck lately with men she decides to be cautious. Archie, Eddie and Charlie have taught her lessons about love but with this new adventure Doug teaches her different lessons about relationships. In this installment Emmy has all of her worlds colliding from childhood friends to high school friends to the men in her life and they all seem to aim for one big collision. Emmy’s goal is come out the other side of this crazy espionage time and hope to get what she wants… just a normal life or a life she thinks is normal.
