Rising jazz guitar star Roni Ben-Hur joins forces with iconic Brazilian bassist Nilson Matta, jazz drumming master Victor Lewis, and Brazilian master percussionist Cafe (Roberta Flack, Al Jarreau) to create an infectious, uplifting, and exquisite Afro-Brazilian jazz sensation. Each of the top-flight jazz and Brazilian players in this quartet has a very distinguished track record and brings his own substantial fan base. The quartet will book dates in US, Europe, and Asia to promote this project. Third volume in Motema s Jazz Therapy series, raising funds and awareness for the Dizzy Gillespie Fund of Englewood Hospital and Medical Center, which provides free medical care to jazz musicians without insurance.
