The Yueqin is the pizzicato backbone of the Peking Opera. Played together with the Jinghu and Jing Erhu, they are called the “Big Three” of Peking Opera. Modern Chinese Ensembles use it too, making use of its clear, crisp sounds and timbre. This model was manufactured for the musicians who needs to play both Chinese ensemble and Opera. One can tune it to whatever tuning they require and the playing will not be affected. The instrument is made using Ling-An hardwood, with quality paulownia. The Sound is clear and sonorous, as well as clean as desired by all musicians.
