Our Hawaii: 100th Anniversary Collection

Charmian London kept a journal during her trip to the South Pacific with Jack on their sailboat Snark. Jack went on to publish his version, The Cruise of the Snark, while Charmian later released her version, The Log of the Snark. She removed the section about Hawaii and made it into this separate book. It is both an interesting travel book about the islands as well as an insightful look into island life and the effects of encroaching civilization that accompanied becoming a U.S. Territory. She and Jack loved Hawaii.
