This is Part 2 of this four part series on CGSE KS4 Maths Problem Solving with a Casio fx calculator which is part of the Cambridge Maths Method. If you have worked through Part 1 you should now a reasonable working knowledge of the Casio fx-991ES calculator and how it’s used to solve problems. Part 2 offers you the opportunity to enhance your understanding and to introduce you to new ways of using your calculator.It must be emphasised again how important it is for you to write up the examples in your notebook and work through them – perform all the calculator keystrokes – learn by doing. You will find that as you progress through this series your understanding of maths will grow and you will gain a better appreciation of the material that you are taught in your classroom maths.
