Andreas and his musical partners are masters at creating music that touches your spirit with the wonders of beauty, and that was especially evident on the swirling ”The Pyramidians” if I were on the nominating committees, this song would immediately be considered for (and WIN) an award! You will FEEL (and see) the roving soul as you listen to ”Wandering” I just loved the piano on this performance; it conveys a real sense of movement the recording is pure perfection, but be sure you listen to this piece (as well as the others) with your headphones on, so you can hear every little nuance. Andreas’s music has been noted as very therapeutic by many therapists if you listen to my personal choice for favorite of the ten tunes offered up, you will hear why the title track, ”Come To The Quiet Place”, uses the ”space between the notes” to wrap you in serenity and help you escape the terrors that abound in the world today! I give Andreas and his high-talent artists a MOST HIGHLY RECOMMENDED rating, with an ”EQ” (energy quotient) score of 4.99 for this highly engaging musical adventure. By Dick Metcalf, editor –Contemporary Fusion Reviews – August 7, 2020 The Swiss harp ace reached enough of you successfully that he was able to take a 10 year powder and regroove himself. Making his original impact on the pop side of a classical label, you can feel him stretching his classical muscles here in the company of his co-horts. Whether serious and heavy or not, he’s still a nimble, sprightly player who strums his harp with a smile you can feel. A delightful set that will bring back memories of how satisfying it was to listen to a well done album all the way through, particularly when it takes you to places out of the ordinary. Chris Spector –Midwest Record review 7/31/2020 …an intimate, melodically eloquent, rhythmically eclectic and classically tinged set of vibrant exotic dances and introspective meditations. Creating dreamy, lushly textured soundscapes with his ensemble of pianist Isabel Gehweiler and drummer Walter Keizer… Jonathan Widran, Music Connection The performances on the album are nothing short of flawless. The Jazz Owl …As a music reviewer, I rarely say it, but ‘Quiet Places’ is a must. It is easily one of the finest New Age music releases in 2020. It also an excellent addition to Vollenweider’s discography… BT Fasmer –New Age Music Guide
