Donny Cates (Doctor Strange) ecrit cette mini-serie en se basant sur les evenements de sa serie Guardians of the Galaxy. Il fait egalement le lien avec Knull, le grand mechant de son titre Venom. Au dessin, il est accompagne par l’un de ses amis, Tradd Moore, le dessinateur (au style ultra-dynamique) de la serie All-New Ghost Rider. Pris dans un trou noir, le Silver Surfer est envoye a l’autre bout de l’univers. Il doit trouver un moyen de rejoindre ses allies mais se rend rapidement compte qu’il est alle beaucoup plus loin qu’il ne l’imaginait. D’autre part, les adversaires qui se dressent sur sa route manient des forces auxquelles il n’est pas habitue. Norrin Radd devra par exemple combattre Knull, le dieu des symbiotes.
