Songs and Dances of the Middle Ages – Guitar Edition

A collection of melodies from medieval Europeas adapted by the group Sonus from their Dorian CD, Songs and Dances of the Middle Ages. While performing on authentic period instruments on the recording, the authors present here both a solo guitar and a melody edition of these ancient tunes. Although none of this music was originally written for the guitar, the authors have selected 20 pieces from the CD which make successful guitar arrangements. Written in notation and tablature to accommodate various alternate tunings.
