Songs and Studies for Kids! Introductory B

Welcome to Songs and Studies for Kids! This songbook series celebrates the child singer with simple, fun-to-sing activities incorporating play-based vocal exploration. This level was developed for students ages 6 and up who have completed Songs and Studies for Kids! Introductory A or for young singers with singing lesson or performance experience. The Introductory B Level Includes: Solfege Studies: These short singing exercises incorporate both solfege and lyrics. With fun illustrations, simple melodies, and foundational music skills, Solfege Studies are best learned and performed without piano accompaniment. We use movable DO solfege and highly recommend that young singers use hand signs. This physical activity helps students develop pitch accuracy and independent singing skills.
