Head to Head Sudoku Races for Kids Welcome to this fantastic new book containing 100 sudoku puzzles for you to solve head-to-head against a friend or family member. Who will be the quickest to solve each puzzle and be the winner of each race? It’s time to find out! The book is split into three sections: sprints, races and marathons. The sprints are quick-fire warm-up puzzles that will only take a minute or so each, and are played on mini 4×4 sudoku grids, so there are only a few numbers to place in each game and they are a real contest of speed-solving. The ‘race’ puzzles are played on 6×6 grids so these will take a little bit longer to solve, and you must place the numbers 1-6 in each puzzle grid. The ‘marathon’ puzzles are played on standard 9×9 grids and so are suitable for children who are experienced at solving smaller sudoku puzzles and feel confident at moving up to the next step. These will take longer to solve so you’ll need to be a bit more patient in tackling these, but you can still enjoy solving them competitively if you have a willing child – or adult! – to compete against.
