As parent or guardian, it’s up to you if you want to build in a reward system of, for example, ice-cream treats after a certain number of books read! Simple book review pages containing sections for the title, an overall rating, a story summary, your child’s favorite part of the book, and space to draw or doodle a scene from the book. It’s intentionally non-threatening for kids who may be reluctant writers.
