Maria Kvilhaug’s hand-drawn illustrations were never published until now. Her first Cartoon takes inspiration The Gylfaginning – “Visions of the Sorcerer” which details the stories of the gods as interpreted by the author. This book is the second part of her work titled, “The Song of the One-Harrier”, This collection is likewise based on the framework of Snorri’s Skaldskaparmal, the second part of his Prose Edda, where he explains skaldic poetry and heroic Edda poetry dealing with human beings interacting with gods and valkyriur. The grand focus is on the saga of Sigurdr Fafnisbani and of his widow, Gudrun, dealing with Attila the Hun who seems like a disguise for Odinn, thirsty for the Red Gold.
