About the Author

Tim Rasinski, Ph.D., is a professor of education at Kent State University. He has published more than 100 articles and 10 books on reading education.
Carol Flexer, Ph.D., is a professor of audiology at the University of Akron and has authored more than 140 academic publications. She consults and lectures internationally about the role of hearing in education.
