Titanic Songs: Music That Memorialized The Disaster

Over 300 pieces of music were written after the wreck of the Titanic. This book provides a treasure trove of copies of the original sheet music from 1912 of songs that can be used by pianists, vocalists, educators, reenactors, and Titanic enthusiasts. In addition to selections written in the the US, there are selections from England, France, and Canada. The book includes over 20 pieces, and titles include My Sweetheart Went Down With The Ship, The Ship That Will Never Return, The Wreck of the Titanic, Just As The Ship Went Down, The End of the Titanic in the Sea, Der Naser Keiver, and many others, including several different tunes for Nearer, My God to Thee. This book was reviewed in the Autumn 2020 edition of Voyage, published by the Titanic International Society, Inc.
