Toolz You Can Use: The Companion Handbook to A Systems Thinking Model for Improving the Education and Training of Performance Excellence

Toolz You Can Use is the Companion Handbook to the original work, A Systems Thinking Model for the Education and Training of Performance Excellence. Its compilation is at the behest of an Engineer who suggested many years ago that I create a book to share my tools with others who might not be able to participate in one of my classes. Toolz is based on nearly 40 years of training professionals to self-assess, reflect, plan, and strategize for their personal and professional success. The Handbook follows a simple formula so that anyone who picks it up can quickly find a tool with tips, a simple format they can copy, and an example. The Handbook offers tried and true tools that have been used in my training and coaching sessions, and have been passed on to others who use one or more of them in their organizational and operational excellence initiatives. Toolz is a solutions-based book to help a leader think, problem-solve, and make informed decisions, using data, observation, and feedback from others. The Handbook follows the exact same order as the original work, is easy to understand, and sparks ideas that are relatable to many situations.
