This workbook has been developed as a tool and creative writing outlet for other people on the journey to learn more about racism and systemic racism with curated content from “Home Work A Collection of Poems Sparked by One White Woman’s Journey on the Matter of Race.” “Home Work A Collection of Poems Sparked by One White Woman’s Journey on the Matter of Race” is the product of lessons and assignments while a participant in Dr. Lynne Maureen Hurdle’s course On The Matter Of Race: White People Committed to Beginning the Journey Together, Level 1, September 2020 through February 2021. Each chapter contains an original poem with a history lesson along with space for reflection and inner work in blank and lined pages for notes, journaling, and other creative artwork of the user.
