The full width plan iron is easy to remove for sharpening and is easy to set using the knurled adjustment screw. The sole measures 1-3/32-Inch wide and the full length Shoulder Plane measures 6-Inch long. For fine tuning mortise and tenon joints, this is the only tool to have.
