- Un-Buffered (no calcium carbonate has been added) with a Ph of Approximately 7
- Passes the TAPPI T444 silver tarnish test – meaning that my Non-Buffered Archival Tissue will create a barrier between say your grandmother’s sterling serving set or your Radco metallic Christmas ornaments and naturally occurring sulfur in the air. (Lots of chemistry lessons in archiving!)
- Soft white in color not quite the bright white of even a decade ago as my Archival Tissue has not been whitened with Chlorine. This more environmentally friendly production process helps limit the amount of unhealthy chemicals released into the air during the manufacturing/whitening process.
- Large sheets 24×36 in. make wrapping easy.
- Flexible enough to mold around specialty items (like my vintage hats) but sturdy enough not to tear when creased.
- Provides peace of mind; your valued items have a layer of protection from not only chemicals in the air, but acids lurking in that cedar chest or the everyday packing carton.
