This fitting is rated for operating pressures up to 50 psi (3.45 bar) without using clamps. If operating pressures exceed 50 psi (3.45 bar), a clamp is recommended. To install, the fittings are pressed into the tubing. It is important you do not heat the polyethylene tube before inserting to make installation easier, as it will weaken the connection and can damage the tubing.
