A Haunted House, Bank Accounts, and Murder (A Mama and Cookie Mystery)

It is Halloween time, and a haunted house attraction has moved into Beulah “Cookie” Simmons’s small home town. Which has to be one of the worst things possible because Cookie hates haunted houses! Her mother, Maven Simmons, tries to convince her that the haunted house will be good for the town, but Cookie isn’t too sure about that, and she is right! As soon as the haunted house moves into town, trouble surrounds it. When there is a problem, Mama and Cookie are there to solve it, or more like Mama convinces Cookie to take on the case. But what should be a simple case turns into much more when a gruesome body is found in the haunted house. With new suspects at every turn, it will take all of Mama’s and Cookie’s smarts to solve this one. Will they be able to solve this case, or will Cookie’s greatest fears about haunted houses come true again?
