You’re about to experience an exciting three months in God’s Word! If you’ve participated in the 12-month Bible Immersion Journey, you’ve read thorough the entire Bible in three months and taken three additional months to ponder and mediate on selected Old and New Testament scriptures. We will now switch gears and do some study in the Old Testament–a reflective overview of what God has written that has inspired me over the years. I pray as you read what has kept me growing that you will find this three-month journey helps you fall even deeper in love with the Word of God. You’ll encounter extreme characters falling into sin of all sorts, some of whom recover and end well while others never quite make it. You’ll spend time with people whose lives of deep devotion challenge me to go deeper. You’ll witness miracles and supernatural happenings at every turn. The Bible is full of adventure and intrigue and the deep things of God. And the best part: it’s a living book, so it never gets old. It’s fresh and new every morning! Most of all, you’ll be awakened to a deeper hunger for more of God, for He Himself will be speaking to you daily and encouraging your soul. There is much Biblical scholarship already available for you to dig into. This module is designed as a heart-level “fly over,” with landings on certain points of interest that have captured my heart. One way I will guide you through Scripture is to give you the chapter and verse address for you to look up. Occasionally I’ll show the verse or passage on the page, but it’s very important for you to take your Bible, look up each passage, and read it yourself. I believe the more you engage the discovery yourself, the more God’s Word will open to you.
