Around the World: Idris Takes Initiative — Sudan (PragerU Educational Magazine)

As Sudan suffers an ongoing cycle of political instability and violence, refugees flee for safety. These sudden population shifts create dangerous resource scarcity. When young Idris finds himself in a refugee camp with little drinkable water, he must finally choose between continuing to run or looking for solutions. Created for middle and high school students, PragerU Kids’ Around the World books explore complex topics such as communism, energy needs, and freedom of speech in an age-appropriate manner and give children a new appreciation for American values.
