Arthur’s Lost Library Book [VHS]

Amazon.com Marc Brown’s fine fellow of an 8-year-old aardvark, Arthur, loses a library book (the latest story from the Scare-Your-Pants-Off series), and he searches and searches everywhere for it. Mystified by its disappearance, Arthur does what any child his age might do in this situation: wonder if the scary book walked off somehow by itself. This entertaining story of responsibility is followed by an excellent episode about sibling dynamics, “D.W.’s Imaginary Friend,” in which Arthur’s sister gains an invisible pal, much to his embarrassment. –Tom Keogh
