This trombone was designed in collaboration with the principal trombonist of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, Jay Friedman. The 42BOF features optimal tonal response and the ability to change the color of sound. This trombone allows the bell to vibrate freely with the #42 traditional bell-free bracing.
