Carolina Investigations For Ap Environmental Science: Soil Formation And Properties 8-Station Kit

This series of laboratory activities addresses the formation and physical characteristics of soil: weathering, structure, texture, particle size, consistency, and permeability. Students analyze the weathering of rocks and explore the physical properties of isolated soil components (sand, clay, and humus). The materials in the kit are sufficient for 32 students working in 8 groups of 4.
