Its temperature control knob adjusts temperature in 5-degree increments. For safety, a hot top light indicates when the unit is over 60 degrees C, even when the power is off. It can hold a support rod (sold separately) for holding an external temperature controller (sold separately). This 100V hot plate comes with a standard US three-prong plug for use in Japan and areas with similar electrical requirements.
