Thank you for your interest in Dance Dreams – Volume 3! As a dance teacher, I wanted to provide my male students with a ballet terminology learning tool designed especially for them, that would be engaging and inspiring. Each letter coloring page has a facing page, listing definitions, pronunciations and historical trivia. Some also have an inspiring note or thoughtful exercise geared toward younger dancers. The terms for many letters include beginner to advanced technical work, so you can choose which are appropriate for each class to focus on. For the student, you can test yourself on spelling and definitions of the steps you know now, and ones that you will learn in the future. If there is a term you don’t know, you can use the wealth of resource material available on the internet to see what you have to look forward to in your dance training.
